For a search for family in Germany, I was given the name and two colour photographs of portraits. That wasn’t much, but I happened to come across a newspaper article and was surprised to see both portraits there, but not in colour. That was the proof that I was on the right track. After some research, I got in touch with the author of the article and through him I managed to get in touch with the people who had provided the pictures at the time. It turned out that I had come across relatives of my clients and a new part of the family opened up with a lot of great information. And what’s more, the new members of the family had now seen the portraits in colour for the first time. <\/p>\n
Such moments are very memorable.<\/p>\n
